Safari Saturdays at the Salato Center

 
Bring your little ones to the Salato Center on the second Saturday of every month for a fun-filled morning of activities. This program is designed to foster within your child a connection to wildlife and the outdoors.  The Salato Wildlife Education Center is located at the headquarters of the KentuckyDepartment of Fish and Wildlife Resources in Frankfort, KY. The Salato Center is home to abald eagle, black bear, bobcats, bison, elk, white-tailed deer, turkey, native fish and reptiles.
 
 (for ages 3–6) All programs are from 10 a.m. – noon, and the cost is $3.00 per Saturday.
 
Pre-registration is required.
