Preschool classes were able to experience the indoor and outdoor areas of the Salato Center. Some of the children in the morning class were able to actually see and touch a Black King snake. There was also an area where children could experience simulated fishing and weighing the fish they caught. Other children were able to measure themselves by way of swordfish. Outdoors they were able to visit with the Brown Bear, the American Eagle and the Kentucky Wildcat. Both children and parents enjoyed walking the nature trails and observing the wildlife displays within the Salato Center. Many of the children who don’t ride the bus to school were more excited about riding the bus than the actual center! We hope your children enjoyed the trip as much as we enjoyed taking them.
